We are located in Downtown Fort Collins, Colorado along the banks of the Cache la Poudre River, at the traditional crossroads for many Indigenous people, home of the early railroad, and surrounded by restored historic buildings. Downtown is where creativity and innovation intersect with history. Take a tour and experience the Creative District for yourself! Through self-guided and organized tours you can explore a bit of the Creative District’s art, food, history and music. Explore Art in Public Places‘ transformer cabinet murals and sidewalk pavers, take a self guided public art tours and play a Piano About Town. Experience Downtown’s architecture and stories (including the old firehouse that inspired Disneyland’s Main Street!) on the Historic Explorations Tour or pick up some artwork for your home or business on the 25+ year-old First Friday Art Walk. Visitors can also take lots of themed tours to learn about downtown’s historic origins, as well as, colorful stories and characters while they taste some of the finest teas, chocolates, cheeses and craft libations on the Fort Collins Foodie Walk! Discover Fort Collins Mural Project‘s murals, vote for your favorite Sculpture in the Square and travel through our art filled renovated alleys.
